Doug joined Northwestern Mutual at age 22 as a Financial Representative Intern. This career would also provide the opportunity to work with Business Owners, a market Doug found exciting having been raised in a family business. He became the company's Top Intern in 1979 and became a full time Financial Representative in 1980. He feels blessed to have "found his nitche" at an early age.
Doug has a passion to serve others. He traces this value back to his childhood having lost his mother at at age 10. As the oldest of 6 children he learned the importance of teamwork and helping others. He delights in making a positive impact on the financial security of business owners and their families.
Having experienced numerous tragic death and disability claims he takes great pride in being there for his clients and their families.
Doug celebrated his 30th Anniversary in 2008 with Northwestern Mutual and he considers it a great honor to have earned the enduring friendships, trust and confidence of his clients.
